Continuing to develop an impressive track record of success in supporting the region’s most innovative start-ups, M-SParc is delighted to confirm that its accelerator programme, Level Up, has awarded £110,000 of support to four businesses in the region.
Helping ambitious business owners develop the skills, focus and confidence needed to lead a successful start-up, Level Up has offered a comprehensive package of support, guidance and opportunities to nine leading north-Wales-based start-ups in recent months, and the programme is now accepting applications to its second cohort, beginning in September 2022.
A five-month programme, Level Up gives ambitious founders exclusive access to expert mentoring, a community of likeminded founders, their own global advisory board with powerful networks and exclusive opportunities for growth.
£110,000 in total has been awarded to four businesses on the programme’s inaugural cohort, with Pai Language Learning, Explorage, Curatec and Dewin.ai receiving £50,000, £30,000, £25,000 and £5,000 respectively.
This news follows a competitive process which saw members of our accelerator pitch for funding to boost their growth. Decisions were made based on how much of an impact the funding would have on their speed to market, the potential to create new jobs in the region and the likelihood of realising the target impact.
M-SParc’s Level Up Accelerator Programme Lead, Olu Peyrasse, said:
