Spending time at the company flagship building on Anglesey, and at the M-SParc #OnTour offices in Bangor and Pwllheli, it was not only an opportunity to learn about the Science Park, but also to explore Wales. Jannah is from Bahrain, and was interested to see some more of the sights while at Bangor.
Throughout the time, Jannah met with a variety of local companies from across Gwynedd, and got involved with different aspects of the work from business support to makerspace machinery! Jannah shadowed Business Support and Innovation Officer, Siôn Wynne, as he conducted client meetings and gave a real-world overview of finance and Business support available in the region. There was also the opportunity, while #OnTour, to get a 3D scan of Jannah’s face which was then modelled and 3D printed, picking up a range of useful experience along the way. It was a great opportunity to see how ideas grow into businesses and how finance plays a role in making that happen, all in a friendly, innovative and fast-paced environment.

Tom used to work at the KFC in his hometown of Colwyn Bay before it mysteriously burned down. He then spent several years “on the lam” in East Germany, where he worked as an animator in Berlin. When the wall fell, Tom came home.
He enjoys climbing and hates ice-skating.
