We’d like to thank Dr Iwan Davies, previous vice chancellor of Bangor University, Prof. Sian Hope and Dr John Idris as their time on the board comes to an end. They’ve been invaluable contributors as we develop. We would like to thank them for all their input and support over the years.
Replacing Iwan Davies will be Ms Pauline Muya, Interim Head of IRIS. Taking the place of Sian Hope will be the Mrs Alison Lea-Wilson, independent member of Council and Founder of Halen Mon. Nia Roberts; IP Specialist with vast experience in industry and government will take the seat of Dr John Idris.
We extend a warm welcome to new board member Mr Michael Rushton who is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at Bangor University.
We will also be having our very own Emily Roberts join the board as an observer and advisor on behalf of the M-SParc team. She has been with the company since 2013 and also sits on the UK Science Park Association’s board, therefore will be an asset to the board.
Again, we would like to thank all our previous members and cannot wait to start working with the new board members! We look forward to interesting discussions and collaborations and discussing new ideas.
Tom used to work at the KFC in his hometown of Colwyn Bay before it mysteriously burned down. He then spent several years “on the lam” in East Germany, where he worked as an animator in Berlin. When the wall fell, Tom came home.
He enjoys climbing and hates ice-skating.
