The week-long tour will showcase Wales as a nation of innovators. The Welsh ecosystem, from industry and academia to finance and Government, will join us as we host a range of exciting events.
M-SParc and our partners will take the Welsh ethos of innovation and inspiration to new communities, to stimulate businesses and conversation, and to encourage more people to take an interest in science and technology.
We will promote the digital, energy, creative-digital and decarb offers we have across Wales, placing ourselves as a centre point for developing business and investment opportunities, building networks both in the City and Internationally.
Coding using Scratch will be a piece of cake after this workshop! Families are invited to kill two birds with one stone as we learn both coding and animation! We’ll focus on Welsh Idioms, and if you don’t know what an idiom is then we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
This session will be an in-person session most suitable for children aged 6-11, but the whole family’s welcome to come along.
The session takes place i the London Welsh centre, so even if it’s raining cats and dogs we’ll still be there, from 10:00-12:00, on Saturday the 9th, please sign up using the simple form below. You’ll also need to bring a laptop along with you. Places are limited, the early bird catches the worm!
In the afternoon the same session will be held virtually as part of launching the Ysgol Sadwrn globally, for learners all over the world, by invitation only!
WALES IGNITING INNOVATION
The very best of Welsh innovation will exhibit in this event, with afternoon tea served, networking opportunities and keynote speeches.

Where is energy produced? We’ll be comparing different sources of renewable energy vs non-renewable energy and the effects on the environment, and looking at how to exchange kinetic energy/heat to create and power something.
We’ll end with a desert island game – how would you create your own electricity?! By the end of the day, years 5 and 6 will have learned all of this!
Digital Day
Showcasing companies, projects and innovation with Digital at their heart.
Format: An expo with talks on key topics held at the Welsh Government Office in Westminster.
Audience:People and businesses who want to hear about good practice, projects and businesses that innovate in digital in Wales. The event will be suitable for businesses, civil servants and anyone interested in hearing about innovation in Wales
The day will consist of 4 themed talk and panel sessions alongside and all-day Expo showcasing Welsh Digital Technology.
Join us between 1pm-4pm at the Welsh Government Office, London, as we showcase Wales as the location for International Trade and Inward Investment.
Audience: For businesses considering trading in Wales and those who want to learn about the support available to do so.
