Our hub building is located off J7 of the A55

Take a left at the top of the slip road, and you’ll see us on your right immediately after. For SatNav, use post code LL60 6AR, and keep an eye out for our turning as you reach your destination.

M-SParc is also easily accessible by public transport. We have a number of electric car charging points on site, too, and bike shelters should you wish to commute here on two wheels!

Green Travel

At M-SParc, we want staff and visitors to consider traveling to us using a sustainable mode. This is because we are a low carbon science Park, but also because of the benefits that some alternatives, such as cycling and walking, provide to general health and wellbeing. Multi-modal journeys, such as combining rail travel with car share or bus, are encouraged also. If you do not have your own vehicle, there are many alernative ways to reach M-SParc. If you do have your own vehicle, we encourage you to think about assisting others using Lift Shares should you feel it safe to do so.

Bus Travel

Local bus timetables are available online. Gaerwen is connected via the main bus route (X4-4A).

You can catch the 0803 and 1655 from Bangor which bring you straight to M-SParc, or the 0720 and 1615 from Holyhead.

The nearest train station is Llanfairpwll, 3.5 miles east.

Bike Travel

Sheltered bike stands are available on site, as well as showers and drying rooms. There are also two National Cycle Network routes nearby. Route 8, 1.5 miles to the east, and Route 566 to the west.

Electric vehicles

We have Shell Recharge points (Formally New Motion) on site.  Details regarding use of the charge points are provided by Shell and can be found here.  You can also find information on charge points in the area, here.

The site is accessible for those with restricted mobility. Accessible parking space are provided. There are no steps to the building, with the ground being flat, and accessible door options. The public facilities are all located on the ground floor. Meeting rooms and offices are accessible via lifts.

Walking and Cycling can be made easier using the resources available from Sustrans.

Public Transport journeys can be planned using Traveline Cymru, including a journey planner and an App with up to date public transport informaiton.

For amenities, the village of Gaerwen is directly to the west of M-SParc, and is accessible via a pedestrian and cycle entrance.

Tom used to work at the KFC in his hometown of Colwyn Bay before it mysteriously burned down. He then spent several years “on the lam” in East Germany, where he worked as an animator in Berlin. When the wall fell, Tom came home.

He enjoys climbing and hates ice-skating.
