Project Recharge

Recharge your business to the next level

The last few years have proven difficult for the business community.

Is your business experiencing the effects of

Brexit, Covid, the Energy and Cost of living Crisis?

You’re not alone. According to a recent survey the priority for 37% of Gwynedd’s business community was to survive, or to have a succession strategy for the future.

Gwynedd-based businesses can now receive support that will help them take the first steps towards recovering their business  activities either through restoring their former business, to extend or improve their present activities or to diversity into other sectors.

What type of support is available?

  • A review of the business in terms of skills, equipment and property
  • Identify new or better uses for the identified skills, equipment, property
  • Access to funding opportunities
  • Identify any skills gaps, and direct towards training and accreditation which already exists in the sector, directing them towards appropriate sources for funding if needed.
  • Direct businesses towards appropriate funds to purchase new equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for clustering to encourage micro-businesses to co-operate if they are unable to deliver services individually.

How to apply?

Register here for more information or e-mail us and we will get you started on the journey towards recharging your business.

The programme is funded through Gwynedd Council, NDA, NRS and the UK Levelling Up programme.

Tom used to work at the KFC in his hometown of Colwyn Bay before it mysteriously burned down. He then spent several years “on the lam” in East Germany, where he worked as an animator in Berlin. When the wall fell, Tom came home.

He enjoys climbing and hates ice-skating.
